Silvio Cavatorta was an Italian designer and entrepreneur active primarily in the 1950s and 1960s, a period of extraordinary revival for Italian design. His creations are part of the Mid-Century Modern movement, characterized by clean lines, high-quality materials, and an aesthetic that blends functionality with refinement.   

Cavatorta was known for his ability to combine craftsmanship and innovation, working with fine materials such as teak, rosewood, metal, and glass.
