The Big Dream by STUDIO2046 stands out for its essential and refined lines, enhanced by sartorial details that highlight its value. A unique piece “dressed” in an exclusive fabric born from the collaboration between the historic Japanese company Hosoo and renowned filmmaker David Lynch; the fabric, Spiral Chaos, is part of a trilogy that explores wandering states of mind, the whirlwind pursuit of dreams, and the confusion that accompanies every transformation.
The Big Dream sofa is also distinguished by its clean design and exceptional modularity: thanks to interchangeable modules, it can be configured in various ways — from a corner sofa to a three-seater, a two-seater, an armchair, a chaise longue, or an ottoman — adapting with great versatility to any space and need.
The seat base is a true example of artisanal excellence: made from modular aluminum blocks using the folding technique, a high-precision process that combines solidity, elegance, and meticulous attention to detail.
Since 2017, designer and architect Daniele Daminelli has been pursuing research that unites art, design, and architecture with STUDIO2046. His work encompasses interior design, furniture, art installations, and collaborations with internationally renowned artists and designers. Each project is conceived as a complete work of art, where aesthetics, functionality, and design heritage come together harmoniously. The foundation is a constant search for cutting-edge materials and technical solutions, with a strong commitment to quality and originality. Leading the studio with a vision that celebrates the dialogue between past and present, Daminelli creates spaces and environments that not only meet functional needs but also evoke emotion, telling stories through the fusion of classic and innovative elements.
